Welcome to any newcomers and welcome back to our returning families. We hope to make your child's experience with us this year (a hopefully many future years) a core childhood memory of baseball fun with friends and family in a safe and supportive community environment.
1. Volunteers - We always need and appreciate volunteer coaches. If you are interested in volunteering, please register yourself when registering your child. If your child is already registered, please go back into the account and register yourself as a volunteer. Our goal is to build and maintain a strong community of coaches who will support our kids through BJB by working together and learning from each other. Players from our Modified, JV, and Varsity baseball and softball teams should be part of our volunteer staff as part of a service scholarship program as well.
2. Equipment - This year we are going to put out equipment bins on all game days for all divisions and use the gas station penny model - 'Have Equipment, Leave Equipment, Need Equipment, Take Equipment'. Please feel free to participate on both ends of this program.
3. BHS/BJB Family Nights - All Beacon Junior Baseball families are invited to Heritage Financial Ballpark on Wednesday, April 15 and Monday, April 27 for the BHS Varsity game on each of these nights at 430pm. Each player will get a raffle ticket for a chance at prizes throughout the game and players will participate in the National Anthem.
4. Opening Parade & Ceremony - April 25 @1pm (more info to follow)
5. Closing BBQ - Saturday, June 13 is the date set for our Majors Division Championship Game. We are tentatively planning a closing celebration/BBQ for the entire league around this event.
6. PLEASE SEE THE OVERALL SCHEDULE FOR EACH DIVISION BELOW. MORE SPECIFIC SCHEDULES WILL BE PROVIDED AS TEAMS ARE FORMED BUT THE DATES WILL REMAIN THE SAME.
